ACACS was established in the year 2006-07 and is a premier branch of Arihant Education Foundation (AEF- a Parent Institute). It is determined to prepare students with esteemed promises to act with judgment and integrity in the ever increasing responsible positions of leadership in the complex global business environment and are dedicated to serve their organizations, society, humanity and nation as a whole.
Since establishment, college is constantly imparting education to the students for their overall development. The college offers different courses namely M.Sc. (Computer Science), B.Sc. (Computer Science), B.B.A., B.B.A. (C.A.), B.Sc. (Hospitality Studies), B. Com., and B.A. ACACS maintains a very transparent educational environment in the premises, because we believe in progressive enfoldment of the students towards becoming successful professionals as well as responsible citizens of nation.

I warmly welcome you all at Arihant Education Foundation (AEF) Pune, one of the esteemed educational institutions, continuously striving for academic excellence, professional achievements and skill-based development of the students belonging to different multicultural strata of Indian society. Institution also believes in shaping the overall personality of the students by inculcating human values, ethics, inclusiveness and holistic approach.
Institution is committed to promote cultural plurality, value education, conducive academic and administrative environment on the campus. The management also encourages all the stakeholders including non-teaching and teaching faculty members in improving their educational qualifications for improving and updating recent trends in higher education. However, AEF stands for institutional development by promoting industry-academia relations, campus recruitment and Job fairs.

It is my privilege to hearty welcome all the students’ eager to seek admission to Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Camp, Pune – 411001. The college runs under the aegis of Arihant Education Foundation, Pune.
Upon reliving myself in Principal’s chair, I feel myself as the most fortunate Principal. We have a visionary educationalist Hon’able Dr. Sanjay Malpani, as the president of the Arihant Education Foundation. His support, fatherly advice, encouragement and guidance from time to time have enabled me to take forward to the challenges to overcome and take the college to even at high level each time.
I want our students should be imparted an all-round education so that they become multidimensional rather that uni-dimensional. In view, acquiring information is no longer the main focus of education; instead the main aim of education is to build the powers of human mind and spirit. We believe in providing our students an environment rich in knowledge and supportive for their extra – curricular interests.
It is wonderful to look at Arihant College, when there is so much to feel proud of and so much to celebrate last few years have been extremely successful and satisfying in terms of accomplishments and accolades in scholastic and co-scholastic development areas. I feel proud to acknowledge the contribution of highly qualified, dynamic and multi-talented faculty, non-teaching staff and my students for this. We have to continue to more ahead for producing and maintaining the best.
Our faculties work hard through out the year with the students to provide them high quality educational experience in the form of debates, group discussion, workshops, seminars and cultural competitions. Eminent personalities are invited from all walks of life to address our students and expose them to new ideas and thoughts. I strongly believe that “all odds, all challenges and all handicaps of life can be overcome with strong determination, insurmountable, patience and unshakable tenacity”.
Perspective Plan
The Institute has strategic plan which ensures that the set targets are achieved through accountability process comprising of review,evaluation, reporting and, where necessary re-planning. The institute has a perspective plan of development through expansion and enhancement of infrastructure, research and development and commencement of new courses. AEF has a plan to have a new building by the end of 2024 for the institute of having a sufficient space to accommodate the new courses, research and development activities etc.
Participation of teachers in decision making bodies:
The Principal, HODs, Quality Assurance Cell (QAC) Coordinator, College Exam Officer (CEO), Academic Research Coordinator (ARC) and the faculty members receive freedom to develop academic leadership. The Principal of the institution plays the leadership role along with the top management and is involved in all the decision making process. Apart from Principal, the leadership is developed at following levels-
Head of the Departments: – The Head of Departments have complete liberty in handling the administration of the department including the distribution of the workload, monitoring of the teaching – learning and evaluation process.
Coordinator of Committees: – Senior faculty members work as the coordinator of committees for various students support activities. They are given free hand to select the members of committees and to conduct various activities e.g. Examination Committee, Finance Committee, Discipline and Attendance Committee, Time-Table Committee etc.
Freedom to work on Academic Bodies of University: – The leadership is encouraged not only at the institution level but also at the university level and beyond. Accordingly, faculty members work as External / Senior Examiner for various Practical/Projects examinations and for theory examinations at university level.
Designing the curriculum for Add-on Courses: – The coordinator of the courses such as Value Added Course, Tally ERP and Advanced Excel etc. are given liberty to design the curriculum.
