Arihant College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, in association with IQAC and the Alumni Association, organized “Alumni Meet 2024” on July 13th, 2024. The event aimed to bring together former students to reconnect and share their experiences. Out of 87 registered participants, 54 attended.
The event was guided by Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF; Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal; Mrs. Sofeen Sayyed, IQAC coordinator and the Alumni Association team. It was hosted by Prathemesh Shinde, Samjhana Kshetri, and Gulrukh Sayyed.
The day was filled with nostalgia as alumni and faculty members reunited. Mrs. Pranali Deshmukh, coordinator, Alumni Association welcomed everyone, followed by the lamp-lighting ceremony by Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal; HODs and some alumni. Dr. Kanchan Shinde addressed the alumni’s and appreciated their journey towards the successes. Mrs. Swati Saklecha, a successful entrepreneur from the 2012 batch delivered a keynote speech. Several alumni shared their success stories, emphasizing the college’s role in their achievements. They also expressed their willingness to support current students through workshops, internships, and other initiatives.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Sofeen Sayyed, highlighting the success of the gathering and encouraging continued alumni involvement. The meet was a great success, offering a platform for networking, sharing experiences, and planning for the future.
