On the occasion of our President’s birthday, Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Camp, Pune, successfully conducted a blood donation camp in collaboration with Tarpan Blood Bank under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF and Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/c Principal. The event started with the inaugural ceremony, felicitation of the team from Tarpan Blood Bank and Principal’s address.
The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from students, teaching and non -teaching staff members. Total 27 individuals stepped as donors to donate blood. The camp was supervised by qualified medical professionals from Tarpan Blood.
Donors expressed satisfaction with the well-organized nature of the camp and the care provided by the medical team. Many first-time donors reported a positive experience, indicating their willingness to donate again in the future.
The blood donation camp was a resounding success, achieving its dual purpose of honouring our President’s birthday and contributing to the vital blood supply in our community. This event reinforces our institution’s commitment to social responsibility and community service.
The event coordinators Dr. Harshal Chalwadi, Dr. Gautam Shinde, and Mrs. Sofeen Sayyed acknowledged Tarpan Blood Bank for their professional support and expertise. They also expressed gratitude to the organising committee members Shanteshwar Waghmare, Mr. Deepak Ambhore, and Mr. Rakesh Dubey for their meticulous planning, as well as to all the volunteers and the 27 donors for their selfless contribution.
