On the occasion of birthday ceremony of Dr. Sanjayji Malpani, President, AEF, Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Camp, Pune, conducted a blood donation camp in collaboration with Tarpan Blood Bank under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF and Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal on 20th July 2024. The event started with the inaugural ceremony, felicitation of the team of Tarpan Blood Bank followed by Principal’s address.
Registration of donors followed by pre-donation medical health check-up including haemoglobin and blood pressure measurement. Blood donation process conducted under strict hygiene and safety protocols. Post-donation refreshments and care was also provided to the donors.
The event was marked by enthusiastic participation from students, teaching and admin staff members. Total 26 individuals stepped as donors to donate blood. The camp was supervised by qualified medical professionals from Tarpan Blood.
Donors expressed satisfaction with the well-organized nature of the camp and the care provided by the medical team. Many first-time donors reported a positive experience, indicating their willingness to donate again in the future.
The blood donation camp was a resounding success, achieving its dual purpose of honouring our President’s birthday and contributing to the vital blood supply in our community. This event reinforces our institution’s commitment to social responsibility and community service.
The Coordinator of the event Dr. Gautam Shinde and Mrs Sofeen Sayyed acknowledged Tarpan Blood Bank for their professional support and expertise; organising committee Prof. Shanteshwar Waghmare ,Prof Harshal Chalwadi , Mr. Baliram Yadav ,Mr. Virendra Thakur Mr Deepak Ambhore and Mr.Rakesh Dubey for their meticulous planning, all the volunteers and all 26 donors for their selfless contribution.
