Government of Maharashtra through letter dated 16th June 2023 directed universities, university departments, private colleges and all other degree awarding colleges to implement government resolution dated 20th April, 2023.
On completion of three years of implementation of National Education Policy 2020 on 29th July 2023 it was decided to celebrate “National Education Policy Week” During 24th to 29th July 2023 to make students and parents aware about NEP 2020.
With reference to same, Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Camp, Pune-01, Department of Science and Technology organized Essay Writing competition on 25th July 2023.
The topics for the competition were:
- New Education Policy- Necessity and Objectives
- New Education Policy- Vision and Advantages/ Disadvantages
- Benefits for students under New Educational Policy
33 students participated in the competition.
The winners of the competition are:
- Sanskruti Kokitkar, S.Y.B.B.A.(C.A.)
- Neha Kumari, S.Y.B.B.A.(C.A.)
- Heena Rameshgiri, S.Y.B.B.A.(C.A.)
Priti Kedari worked as event coordinator, Kaikasha Shaikh worked as co-coordinator for the event. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal; Sofeen Sayyed, IQAC coordinator and Devyani Patil, HoD, Science and Technology Department. Dr. Laxman Kshirsagar and Vivek Salve worked as judges for the event.
