Induction Program for F.Y.B.COM students was held on Monday, 30th June 2025 at 10:00 am at Arihant College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Camp, Pune-01.
Dr. Kanchan Shinde, Incharge Principal, welcomed the students, introduced the college, gave an overview of the B.COM program, and motivated students to pursue their goals.
Ramajan Varunkar, HOD, Commerce Department, shared insights on the B.COM curriculum, NEP, examination pattern, academic discipline, and extra-curricular activities. He also highlighted various programs and events conducted by the college.
Heads of various departments introduced their departments viz. Training & Placement Cell by Vellangani John, Physical Education & Sports Department by Dr. Gautam Shinde, NSS Department by Dr. Harshal Chalwadi and Student Development Board by Ramajan Varunkar, Examination Department by Priti Kedari, IQAC by Sofeen Sayyed and Library Department by Shital Ankushe.
The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF, and Dr. Kanchan Shinde.
It was hosted by Vellangani John, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Samina Khan.
Total 50 students attended the event and the event was well-coordinated by the Commerce Department staff.
