Arihant Junior College of Arts, Commerce, and Science, Camp, Pune, organized an Induction program for the 11th Arts and Commerce students on August 10, 2024. The event was held under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director and Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal. The primary aim of the program was to welcome the new students and introduce them to the various departments and facilities of the college.
The program was hosted by 12th Arts and Commerce students Zhabiya, Jamila, Khushi, and Aliza, ensuring a smooth flow of event and maintaining an engaging atmosphere throughout.
Program began with a Saraswati Pujan and lamp lighting ceremony, setting a positive tone for the day.
Heads of the Commerce and Arts departments provided an overview of their respective stream. They highlighted key aspects of their departments, including examination pattern and guidelines, ensuring that students understood the assessment methods. Additionally, Dr. Gautam Shinde introduced the sports activities available at the college.
College alumni also attended the program, sharing their experiences and offering inspirational speeches. They discussed their contributions in various fields, motivating the new students to strive for excellence.
The program was coordinated by the Heads of the Arts and Commerce departments, Ms. Pushpalata Shinde and Ms. Zainab Tinwala. Ms. Seema Murkute extended the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the speakers, organizers, and participants for making the event a success. The program concluded with the National Anthem.
