As per UGC guidelines, the mentor mentee system is helpful in developing the overall skills of mentee and to solve the issues or problems faced by mentee.
- The three C’s of mentorship- Communication, Clarity and Commitment- are essential components of an effective mentorship programme that aims to find success with participants.
- The Mentoring relationship between two people aimed at professional development. It is based on mutual respect, trust and integrity.
- Personal and professional information shared during a mentoring relationship is kept confidential.
- It tends to an individual’s overall career goals and aspirations.
