The Student Development Board of Arihant College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Camp, Pune-01, organised One-Day Workshop on Financial Literacy on Thursday, 12th February 2026, from 11:00 a.m. onwards. Total 54 students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams participated in the programme.
The programme commenced with the University Song and Maharashtra Song, followed by the felicitation of the guest speaker. Dr. M. G. Mulla, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Abeda Inamdar Senior College (Autonomous), Camp, Pune-01, was the guest speaker for the event.
The session was highly informative and introduced the participants to various concepts related to finance and financial management. Dr. M. G. Mulla guided the students and faculty members on the importance of financial planning and effective financial management. The participants were made aware of the significance of financial planning and its relevance in today’s competitive world. The session provided valuable insights into developing financial awareness and making informed financial decisions. Two students shared their feedback on the session.
The programme was organised by Mr. Ramajan Varunkar, Student Development Officer under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF, and Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal, ACACS.
Mr. Shanteshwar Waghmare hosted the programme, and Mr. Ramajan Varunkar proposed the vote of thanks.
