The Commerce Department of Arihant College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Camp, Pune-01 , organized a Poster Making Competition on Wednesday, August 14th, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, in celebration of Independence Day.
The competition aimed to showcase students’ creativity and their understanding of Independence Day. Students from the Arts, Commerce, and Science departments actively participated, expressing their patriotism through vibrant posters incorporating the tricolour. The posters demonstrated a variety of artistic skills, colouring techniques, and diverse interpretations of the theme.
The winners were selected by judges Dr. Manisha Teleng and Ms. Sujata Vaidya; Assistant Professor, ACE, Pune, based on creativity, neatness, design, message, and overall presentation.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on August 16th, 2024, in the Seminar Hall. Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal, was the Chief Guest and presented the prizes to the winners.

The event was organized under the invaluable guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF; Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal, and Mr. Ramajan Varunkar, Head of the Department. Dedication and efforts of all the teaching and non-teaching staff ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Ms. Samina Khan, served as the event coordinator, and Ms. Vellangani John, delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the Prize Distribution Ceremony.
