A study tour to the Book Exhibition organized by Jaykar Knowledge Resource Centre, Savitribai Phule Pune University, was conducted on 6th August 2025. The purpose of the visit was to provide exposure to students with a wide range of academic and reference materials, enhance their awareness of newly published books, and encourage a reading culture.
A group of 20 students along with faculty members from different departments visited the Book Exhibition. During the visit, students explored new academic publications, interacted with publishers, and learned about the book selection process. Faculty members reviewed and shortlisted books for departmental libraries. The visit helped to enhance students’ awareness of academic resources and encouraged better reading habits. Mr. Ramajan Varunkar, HoD, Commerce, Mrs. Priti Kedari, Asst. Prof., Department of Science and Technology, Ms. Zarsha Sayyad, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Humanities and Dr. Harshal Chalwadi, Asst. Prof.., Dept. of Humanities participated in the visit. The visit was organized under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF and Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal.
