A Women’s Day celebration was organized at Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Camp, Pune-01, on 9th March 2026 in the Seminar Hall. The programme was organized to celebrate womanhood and acknowledge the valuable contributions of women to society and the academic community.
The celebration began with a warm welcome to all the participants. A total of 28 participants attended the programme and actively participated in the various activities organized during the event. As a mark of respect and appreciation, all women faculty members were felicitated with rose plants, symbolizing growth, strength, and beauty.
To make the event more engaging and enjoyable, various fun games and activities were organized for the participants. These activities encouraged enthusiasm and interaction among the attendees. The winners of the games were awarded prizes, which added to the excitement and enthusiasm of the celebration.
The programme was successfully organized under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, AEF, and Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal.
Priti Kedari served as the Event Coordinator. The dedicated efforts of Sofeen Sayyed, Zarsha Sayyed, Akanksha Pawar, Ankita Kadam, and Poonam Gaikwad contributed significantly to the successful organization of the celebration.
The Women’s Day celebration concluded on a note of appreciation, joy, and inspiration, highlighting the importance of recognizing, respecting, and empowering women in every sphere of life.
