On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, Department of Psychology organized a program on 10th October 2024 to help students understand the importance of mental health and social well-being. The event aimed to raise awareness about mental health issues and promote techniques for managing stress.

The program began with presentations by second-year Psychology students, Samjhana Chhetri and Saqlain Tamboli. They explained the importance of mental health and shared effective stress-reduction techniques. Following this, a fun “Brain Gym” activity is conducted. Students actively participated in engaging brain exercises designed to promote mental clarity and relaxation.

The program was held under the guidance of  Dr Ashok Chaskar, Academic Director, Dr. Kanchan Shinde, I/C Principal and Dr Radharani Banarjee, HoD, Humanities, whose support made this event a success. Entire program was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Shital Salavi .
